Internship at the Department of Operative and Restorative Dentistry, University of Zurich under the guidance of Prof. F. Lutz; studying adhesive dentistry and its applications in operative and prosthetic dentistry.

Active Member of the European Academy Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) one of the most important and desirable scientific academies, worldwide; Active Member of the Italian Academy of Restorative AIC (Accademia Italiana di Odontoiatria Conservativa e Restaurativa) one of the most prestigious and important scientific academies in Italy; Active Member of the Italian Academy Esthetic Dentistry (IAED).

To become an active member of these academies, you have to present clinical cases treated with very high quality standards and the latest generation technics.

Author of articles on Esthetic adhesive and restorative dentistry and speaker in international courses and congresses.

A new no prep restorative technique

In 2015 Dr Ammannato invented, developed and published on the International Journal Of Esthetic Dentistry (IJED), a new technique, called “Index Technique”. This is a no prep approach that allows to restore worn dentition. In 2018 he published, on the same Journal an up-date of the Index Technique.

The Index Technique allows three main advantages for the patients:

a no prep approach allows to keep all the sound tooth structure of each tooth;
low financial costs compared to conventional restorative rehabilitations;
very few sessions for the patient, in order to finalize the treatment, compared to conventional restorative rehabilitations;
possibility to repair the restorations, through the years, instead of replacing the restorations.
